Who Are We?

AllogenRx International Tissue Bank is a licenced EU tissue establishment

regulated by the Healthcare  Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) in Ireland.

We provide the clinician with a range of highly purified human allograft materials, allowing safe and effective bone regeneration with structural support and the 

ability to treat bone infection.

Our EU tissue establishment code is IE0TE042. 

Human Tissue Products

To ensure quality and traceability, AllogenRx® procure donated human tissue from within the EU. Our products are processed by licenced EU tissue establishments in accordance with the EU Tissues and Cells Directives.


We use the well-established technique of supercritical Carbon Dioxide (scCO2)

extraction to effectively remove lipids, fats and cellular material. Products are

presented sterile packed following freeze drying and gamma irradiation.

The Challenge of Bone Infection

Chronic bone infection is mediated by

biofilm-forming microorganisms that adhere to substrates such as implanted devices and necrotic bone. Here they secrete an extracellular polysaccharide matrix that cannot be penetrated by the patient’s immune system or by systemic antimicrobials.

The Mechanism & Lifecycle of Biofilm Infection

ERADICATE - REGENERATE®

OSTEOmycin® products are impregnated with high-dose antibiotics. At the site of implantation, local antibiotic concentration exceeds the minimum biofilm eradication concentration (MBEC), effectively targeting the biofilm. OSTEOmycin® also provides a desirable mechanical scaffold for revascularisation and bone regeneration.
